The Light of God's
Righteousness is of Little Witness in the World
Because I'm going to use the term the
Body of Christ several times I will use initials BOC throughout this
offering.
Paul wrote that the mystery of iniquity
was already at work in his day.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 For
the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will
let, until he be taken out of the way.
The word let or letteth connotes a
holding back, or a restraining force that stands off - in this instance that
which stands off the full blown activities of the mystery of
iniquity.
This offering will attempt to bring us
to a closer understanding of the hour in which we live today.
The Body of Christ is the only
representation of Godliness in the world today.
Therefore it is the BOC
that restrains the mystery of iniquity that is in the world.
The BOC represents Jesus in the
world.
The BOC as the representative of Jesus
in the world is then the representation of the mystery of
Godliness.
When
Godliness works the mystery of iniquity is
restrained.
When the BOC
does the work of the ministry of Godliness the mystery of iniquity is
restrained.
When some in the BOC depart from the
Faith and give heed to seducing spirits - that leaven affects the entire
lump.
The mystery of iniquity increases.
Think of yeast
and how it affects dough when added.
Why, you can see
the affect with your eyes - it causes the dough to modify, to rise,
to increase.
1 Corinthians 5:6 Your glorying
is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole
lump?
Galatians 5:9 A little
leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
When Jesus, in the BOC is not being
manifest upon earth, the mystery of iniquity increases, and the BOC becomes
weaker - that is her Godly influence in the world decreases.
As the witness of
God's righteousness, that is, the mystery of Godliness in the world becomes
dimmer, the world's society get's darker and darker as a result.
When the
righteousness of Christ, the mystery of Godliness get's dimmer and dimmer the
mystery of iniquity get's brighter and brighter.
When darkness has increased and light
has decreased - then the BOC shall be removed in the catching away - in the
RAPTURE.
When the BOC is too weak of a witness
to restrain the mystery of iniquity the BOC will be taken out of the
way.
When Faith is no longer a factor - then
the Gospel of God's Grace to the Gentile nations shall be cut off.
When the work of the ministry of
Godliness is not going forward but failing in it's purpose the BOC will be
removed from this world.
Those few who live Godly in Christ
Jesus shall suffer persecution.
2Timothy 3:12 Yea, and
all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer
persecution.
The rest of the BOC, those not living
Godly in Christ Jesus will not walk in the Goodness of the Lord.
They are Saved but they continue
not in His Goodness.
Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the
goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee,
goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be
cut off.
They have stopped being an ambassador
of reconciliation.
It is at this time that the
BOC will be cut off - taken out of the way.
As long as the BOC does the work of the
ministry we will remain.
But - we all are witnesses that the BOC
is not doing the work of the ministry, thus the BOC shall shortly be cut
off.
The Dispensation of Grace will end when
reprobate members of the BOC no longer represent Christ.
Today, in this hour - the BOC is
manifest in religion, in legalism, in law - all that
Grace is not.
The mystery of iniquity is
masquerading as the mystery of Godliness.
God's
righteousness has been replaced with self righteous psychobabble - self
improvement - self goodness - like Joel Osteen and many others
purport.
2Timothy 3:
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres
withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt
minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall
proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as
theirs also was.
God cut off Israel.
God will also cut off the time of
the Gentiles.
When the BOC is no longer representing
the mystery of Godliness, the Body of Christ will be caught up in the
Rapture and the Gentiles will be cut
off.
It is my conviction that God's
predetermined moment of the Rapture of the Church will meet the moment that the
mystery of iniquity is greater than the mystery of Godliness. I believe that
moment is fast approaching and it is important that we recognize this
fact.
You want to know the hour that we live
in?
Read the following from the Book
of Romans.
As you read, keep in mind what is
stated above.
God cut off Israel.
He will also cut off the time of the
Gentiles.
Romans Chapter 11:
1 ¶ I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I
also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of
Benjamin.
2 God
hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what
the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel,
saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy
prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my
life.
4 But what saith the answer of
God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed
the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at
this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of
grace.
6 And if by grace,
then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of
works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more
work.
7 What then?
Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it,
and the rest
were blinded
8 (According as it is
written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber,
eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;)
unto this day.
9 And David saith,
Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock,
and a recompence unto them:
10 Let their eyes
be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back
alway.
11 I say then,
Have they stumbled that they should fall? God
forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to
jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the
world, and the diminishing of
them the riches of the
Gentiles; how much more their
fulness?
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the
apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means
I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of
them.
15 For if the casting away of them
be the reconciling of the world,
what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the
dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and
if the root be holy, so are the
branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off,
and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert
graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of
the olive
tree;
18 Boast not against the branches.
But if thou boast, thou bearest not the
root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches
were broken off, that I might be
grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken
off, and thou stand by
faith. Be not highminded, but
fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches,
take heed lest he also spare not
thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness
and severity of God: on them which fell, severity;
but toward thee, goodness, if
thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also
shall be cut off.
23 And they also,
if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is
able to graft them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by
nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into
a good olive tree:
how much more shall these, which be the natural
branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren,
that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own
conceits; that blindness in part is happened to
Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be
come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is
written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away
ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my
covenant unto them, when I shall take away their
sins.
28 As concerning the
gospel, they are enemies for your sakes:
but as touching the election, they are beloved for the
fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts
and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now
obtained mercy through their
unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in
unbelief, that he might have mercy upon
all.
33 ¶ O the depth of the
riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his
judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the
mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
35 Or who hath first given
to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of him, and through
him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.
Amen.
When we read this passage it's
important to notice that it speaks of the nation of Israel and the Gentile
nations in the analogy given.
It is only individuals that adhere to
the olive tree through Faith
that are Saved.
The Saved remain in the olive tree,
they will never be cut off.
You can look at the olive tree as God's Righteousness
that is imputed to the one that believes through Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The nation of Israel was cut off
because of unbelief - however not those individual Jews
who believed unto Righteousness.
Likewise, the Gentile nations will be
cut off because of unbelief - however not those
individual Gentiles who believed unto Righteousness.
When the unbelieving
Gentiles are cut off - individual
Jews from the nation of Israel that
remain not in unbelief will be grafted back into the olive tree.
The
remnant of Israel will receive God's
Righteousness by Faith.
It is when this comes full
circle, as described in the passage above that the Church, the Body of Christ
will be caught up to Jesus.
And at that time,
individual Jews - during the
time of Jacob's trouble will be grafted
into the olive
tree - that is, they will by Faith be grafted into God's
Righteousness.
When the mystery of
iniquity is greater than the mystery of Godliness in the world.
When the Body of Christ is no longer
representing the mystery of Godliness.
When the Body of Christ is only a
flicker of light of God's Righteousness.
The Gospel of God's Grace to the
Gentile nations will end.
The Last Trump, the trump of God
marking the end of this age shall sound.
The unbelieving Gentile nations
shall be cut off.
The Body of Christ
shall be caught up to Jesus.
Individual Jews will be grafted into
the olive tree
and partake of
God's
Righteousness by
Faith.
1Corinthians 15:
51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be
changed,
52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet
shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on
incorruption, and this mortal must put on
immortality.
1 Thessalonians 4:
16 For the Lord himself shall
descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise
first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so
shall we ever be with the Lord.
In
summary:
The
olive tree is representative of God's
Righteousness.
The mystery of iniquity has
leavened the Body of Christ so greatly that what little light she
has remaining is only a flicker of God's Righteousness to the world.
God shall cut off the unbelieving
Gentiles from the olive
tree.
God shall sound His
trumpet.
God's trump will announce the end
of this dispensation of God's Grace.
God's Grace Church having
little witness of God's Righteousness in the world will be caught up to
Jesus.
The mystery of iniquity will have
no light left to restrain it from coming full bore
upon the earth.
The Day of the Lord will
begin.
Look around you and see
the perilous times spoken of in Paul's writings.
Look around you and see the
leaven in the Church.
Look around you and see the
darkness that has increased.
Look around you and
see that the witness of God's righteousness has only a flicker of light
left.
Look around you and see the
Godly in Christ Jesus being persecuted for their Faith.
Look
around you and fully understand that there will not be a revival of Faith in the
Church because the leaven of self has permeated the
BOC.
What we have learned is that the Jew's, the natural
branches, and the Gentile's, the wild branches are placed into the
FIRST-FRUIT who is HOLY.
He is the ROOT and therefore - the natural branches (having God's
favor) and the wild branches (having not God's favor) have been made HOLY, and
RIGHTEOUS through Faith because of His HOLINESS, because
of HIS FAITHFULNESS, because of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
We have also learned that the branches, natural and
wild that do not take to the FIRST-FRUIT, that do not take to the
ROOT, that do not take to the VINE because of
unbelief shall be cut off, gathered, and
burned.
I pray that Holy Spirit will cause you
to see what is brought forth in this offering, and that those of you that have
Believed unto Salvation will rejoice as everything points to - our Blessed Hope
- the Day of our Redemption - and the Rapture of the Gentile
Church.
